The Voyageurs Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America is seeking a talented individual who is passionate about coordinating resources for our volunteer leaders. Scouting is available to the over 80,000 young people in the territory we serve. Our Program Resource coordinator ensures that the program remains safe, standardized, and significant to the young people and family participants.

The strongest candidate will possess servant-leadership qualities, the ability to work a flexible schedule (including some nights and weekends), and a desire to enrich the lives of members of our community.

Our Program Resource coordinators do the following in their positions:

• Work with high-level volunteers to ensure that Scouting programs are healthy and vibrant
• Provide guidance and leadership to annual youth membership recruiting campaigns
• Champion the annual membership renewal process for Scouting programs
• Be an advocate and role model in the communities for Scouting
• Help develop adult recruitment plans
• Encourage participation in year-round outdoor events
• Work closely with District Volunteer Leadership to advance the goals of the district including membership drives, family fundraising and program/activities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Willing to live on the iron range of NE Minnesota (Grand Rapids to Virginia)
• Work from home with support from our headquarters in Hermantown, MN

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
