JOB SUMMARY:

Sutton National Group, a rapidly growing national insurance carrier group, seeks an Assistant Program Manager that will support a Program Management Team in various aspects of the business. Ideal candidates must be able to adapt quickly to a fast-paced collaborative environment. Important to be a driven and motivated problem solver ready to take an active role in the dayto-day execution of tasks and team support that corresponds with the Sutton Group's overall mission.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the coordination of the various functions involved in Program Management to ensure that all functional areas are fulfilling their obligations in a timely and effective manner
  • Designs and organizes support folders for all teams as a central location for documents
  • Maintain the Company SharePoint site, including adding new programs, providing user access and downloading and sharing data with the internal team
  • Coordinate and support the new program due diligence process to assure required documents are received timely and using Outlook to set up necessary meetings
  • Work closely with the compliance, product, actuarial, underwriting and accounting teams to assure all necessary items are properly completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Coordinate ongoing program management activities including monthly meetings, and required reporting, both internal and external
  • Assist with monthly reporting processes ensuring reports are received from programs and are accurate and timely
  • Communicate with external partners to coordinate meetings, presentations and information exchange
  • Coordinating the accuracy and centralized location of Company processes and procedures
  • Manage and facilitate resolution of all customer service-related issues, including responding to or directing external communications to the appropriate partners

SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES

  • Strong research and writing skills including minutes, presentations, and process and procedure manuals
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Self-starter that can adapt quickly and execute assigned projects without close supervision

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in insurance or project management

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

  • Insurance designations preferred
