We are now hiring for a full-time Program Manager to join our Team at DuPage!
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Actively participates on the site leadership team. Including the development of community plans and a wide variety of center-wide decision making.
  • Takes leadership in working with community agencies, organizations, and institutions as appropriate to carry out program goals.
  • Manages all aspects of own assigned programs.
  • Responsible for maintaining quality and quantity of services and keeps abreast of client service needs, and participates in planning for them.
  • Supervises and provides consultation to assigned Program Supervisors and Senior Program Supervisors in multiple programs and/or locations around their programs.
  • Responsible for all personnel matters within own programs, including hiring, assigning, and terminating of staff. Fosters leadership potential of program staff.
  • Responsible for the writing of program, annual, and long-range plans.
  • Recommends, develops, and monitors program budgets.
  • Monitors program to assure programmatic reporting and fiscal compliance of contracts, annual, and long-range plans.
  • Writes public grants as requested.
  • Provides programmatic input in fundraising strategies.
  • Assures and takes leadership in appropriate integration of multi-service, multi-disciplinary, and/or agency-wide systems approach to program.
  • Acts as the local liaison to funders as appropriate.
  • Develops and maintains contacts with community groups relating to program needs.
  • Works effectively with diverse staff and service population.
  • *QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Seven years post-masters experience in social services with increasing levels of administrative and supervisory responsibility required.
  • License as required by agency and governmental bodies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a complex environment.
  • Mobility for travel.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and groups.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • MFS staff are required to provide proof of vaccination or have an approved Medical exemption prior to starting employment. If an approved Medical exemption is obtained, weekly testing is required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is required to sit and stand for sustained periods of time, frequently talk, hear, use hands and fingers to feel, handle and operate objects or controls, and occasionally stand, bend, stretch, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing and viewing a computer terminal.
  • The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

SALARY:

  • Compensation is commensurate with years of related experience, position requirements, and candidate qualifications. The average salary for the position is $75,000.
