Community Options, department of Residential Services has an opening as a Program Coordinator Assistant II. This position involves assisting residential Program Coordinators (PC) with the administration of a vast majority of services and supervisory responsibilities of staff that provide direct support services to customers.

This position is eligible for all Community Options Full-Time benefits, to include, Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, and Paid Time Leave (PLT, upon enrollment eligibility dates). Starting pay is $18.00-$20.00/ hour, Depending on Experience (DOE).

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent. One year of developmental disabilities experience is required. Preference will be given to incumbents with a college degree in a related field and/or prior related work experience. Supervisory experience preferred. Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state will be required based on assigned job duties.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.) and use of personal computers.
  • Strong communication, leadership, customer service, and networking skills.
  • Ability to work various shifts/hours depending on the needs of the agency.
  • Successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain ND Department of Human Service (DHS) pre-employment approval.
  • Successfully complete and be CPR/First Aid certified (provided) and other training within first 30 days of employment.

  • Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be primarily in an office setting with a noise level that is usually minimal.
