PATH is seeking candidates passionate about helping others make a positive change in their lives to join our Residential Property Support Services as the Program Associate in Los Angeles.

ABOUT PATH
Since its foundation in 1984, PATH (People Assisting The Homeless) has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness. PATH operates services throughout California, connecting our clients to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention, street outreach, employment preparation and placement assistance, individualized case management, supportive services, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing.

ABOUT OUR TEAM
Services include landlord outreach and engagement to develop a full range of permanent housing opportunities for individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness.

ABOUT THE JOB
As part of the Residential Property Support Services team, the Program Associate provides general administrative support to the RPSS Program's leadership, staff, residents, and client participants.

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with new hire staffing in collaboration with the Human Resources department.
  • Coordinate communication and messages appropriately.
  • Schedule and maintain Director calendars and provide follow-up correspondence.
  • Assist in research, preparation, and written documentation for special projects, presentations, and meetings
  • Maintain and support the general email inbox of the department and written correspondence to housing providers and community partners.
  • Maintain and assist the program with running background checks and other tenant supports.

WHAT YOU BRING
We're looking for candidates that:

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain and execute confidential information according to HIPAA and PATH Human Resources standards
  • High level skills in organization, time management, problem-solving and analysis
  • Professional demeanor and demonstrated ability to exercise mature judgment and deal with confidential
    and sensitive issues appropriately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience administering Salesforce and DocuSign

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated proficiency with technology and computers as work tool, including Microsoft Office Software
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language used in the workplace (English)
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field OR an equivalent combination of education and/or experience

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Regardless of qualifications, candidates must:

  • Have employment eligibility verification
  • Have or be able and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid training
  • Provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
  • Successfully complete the following as a condition of hire:
    • Tuberculosis Test
    • Background Screening
    • Drug Test

DRIVING
Driving is an essential function of this position. To meet the employment requirements for this role, all candidates must:

  • Have reliable transportation
  • A valid driver's license
  • Proof of insurance and ownership for personal vehicles used during work duties
  • The ability to qualify for PATH's insurance coverage

COVID-19 VACCINATION
Effective 11/01/2021 ll require all employees to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. All prospective hires will be expected to provide proof of full vaccination as part of the pre-employment credentialing process.

FLEXIBLE WORK
We are a California employer. Therefore, all regular and customary work must be performed within the state. Approval for work outside of the office, does not establish approval for work to be conducted outside of California.
