Summary:

The Program Analyst participates as a member and/or support the Program Integrated Product Team (IPTs); and with team leadership, other team members, customers, and vendors to track progress on technical system development efforts. Applies analytic techniques in program analysis support for all aspects of the program.


Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collect spend plan inputs from the IPTs and create spend plans in CSPT for the IPT leads.
  • Coordinate CDRL reviews, tracking and generating CDRL letters.
  • Work with the acquisition team to draft PIDs for new or modified IPT projects.
  • Track IPT projects in PMT, assist the IPT in managing project milestones and generate PMT reports for the IPT leads.
  • Support Engineering Change Plan development and tracking of supporting contract documentation.
  • Assist in the development of SOW/CDRLs.
  • Assist Program Manager in tracking progress on technical system development efforts.
  • Support the development and execution of program acquisition documentation and processes.
  • Supports team with other program management duties as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. NAVAIR core working hours are 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. CWS is authorized for this position.


Travel:

No travel is expected for this position.


Education and Experience:

Education: BS or BA degree.

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR no degree and an additional six (6) years of experience in program management, technical, or business analysis disciplines may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.

Experience: Three (3) to ten (10) years of experience in program management, technical or business analysis disciplines.


Work Authorization/Security Clearance:

This position is subject to a government security investigation; must be able to maintain a secret clearance.


Physical Demands:

This is a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand, as necessary. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
