Machine Operator in Statesville - Day or Night Shift! - Climate Controlled Facility! Paying $21/hr

Description:

• Assist in operation of the department machinery and processes with guidance and procedures provided by lead person, supervisor, or engineers
• Package finished goods on reels and/or in cartons; palletize & transport to designated pick-up area for warehousing
• Move all raw materials, finished goods, and machinery inter-departmentally as required
• Must have proven ability to learn, understand and comprehend processes and conditions that are involved with safe and proper operation of a foam extruder and it's allied equipment. Must understand overall process sufficiently to make adjustments and/or take proper actions to compensate for variations in process conditions or other changes
• Responsible for accurate weights, measures, and mixing to provide raw material components for processing
• Responsible for frequent pressure, temperature, and various other meter readings, recordings and adjustments
• Responsible for departmental paperwork
• Required to use and interpret a variety of precision measuring instruments
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as directed by supervisor
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area
• Directly responsible for all product quality
• Any other duties as assigned

Shift:

Day Shift: 5:45am-6pm

Night Shift: 5:45pm - 6am

2nd shift: 2pm- 10pm

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Must be able to walk and stand for up to12 hours.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs using proper technique
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Must be able to read and understand written instructions
• Must be able to perform basic math Must be able to utilize hand tools
