Vance Brothers is a prominent asphalt manufacturing and contracting company delivering quality products. This position is full-time year-round first shift. With four different plants located in our Kansas City complex, the Production Team Member may work primarily in one area or float to all four plants.

Key Responsibilities

• Product production
• Tank transfers and blending
• Polymer production
• Packaging and labeling
• Truck and tanker loading and unloading - shipping and receiving duties
• Provide maintenance and loader/forklift assistance when necessary
• Assist, when necessary, with plant maintenance
• Perform fire watch duties, especially during maintenance of plant
• Perform general policing of plant areas, including but not limited to sweeping, trash dumping and tool organizing
• Assist neighboring manufacturing operations with orders when there is down time

Required Experience

• Past experience in a manufacturing operation is preferred
• Forklift experience helpful
• Not being afraid to get dirty when we clean in the winter
• Mechanical abilities are preferred
• Mathematical ability including fractions and decimals is required
• Heavy equipment experience (loader, etc.) may be helpful
• High school diploma or GED required

• Weekly Pay
