Position Summary

US-Offsite is set on bringing housing solutions to the western United States. Over the next 12 months the company is set to build a best in class 250,000 sf facility and begin production. The Production Team Lead(s) will be a hands–on individual who will work on a team to produce revenue generating first run product, assist in finalizing the manufacturing process for volumetric modular construction factory, develop training documents, qualify equipment and assist in the staff planning and hiring of additional production employees.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY
  • Prototype and Production A-Team
    • Build units for Volumetric Modular Construction projects in a prototype manufacturing environment.
    • Understand requirements and translate into work segments
    • Develop design and production policies, focused on efficiency
    • Prototype designs while testing out equipment and tools
    • Work within a cross-functional team environment
  • Production Team Lead
    • Design, Develop, Implement and Manage production process and SOPs
    • Plan, organize and recommend strategies for the successful development of an entire module or station
    • Lead and supervise team members, assessing skill levels and managing training and development, empowering teams to reach full potential
    • Implement, train and oversee operations in accordance with SOPs, safety and manufacturing specifications.
    • Resolve production problems, maintaining high level of QA
    • Analyze data and produce appropriate reports
  • Technical Requirements
    • Experience in residential or commercial construction, familiarity in multiple trades, and/or manufacturing in high mix environment
    • Basic Understanding of manufacturing systems, and best practices is a plus
    • Experience in modular construction industry a plus
    • Read and Interpret necessary shop drawings for production
    • Great people skills, and ability to communicate with others via email, phone; Professional and formal presentation when needed
    • Ability to maintain workflow and create processes and systems.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft office software, and ability to create spreadsheets and forms.
    • Show the ability and willingness to be flexible and innovative in the construction space.
DETAILS
  • Salary: DOE (bi-weekly paycheck)
  • Benefits eligible 60-90 days after initial onboarding
  • Healthcare (60 days), Dental/Vision
  • 5 Paid Holidays | 80 Hours of Vacation accrued per year (3.07hrs/2 weeks paycheck) | 24 hours sick pay
  • Company Vehicle as needed or 50 cents/mile reimbursement
