Berry Global, a leading manufacturing company in the US, is seeking a motivated, team-oriented leader with manufacturing experience to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK as a production scheduler.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a production scheduler in a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Project management or related experience
• Experience with SAP, JD Edwards, or related scheduling software highly desired
• Great production time and process management skills

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide a well-planned production schedule that works to meet customer requirements and maximize machine efficiencies.
• Work with Customer Service/Sales answering inquiries, bump and commitment requests.
• Print work Orders. Review the work orders to ensure that all raw material and equipment is available to run orders.
• Ensure production schedule is put together for the Production lines, adding or re-arranging as needed.
• Review schedule with Production and Operations Managers to ensure that the machine equipment and packaging materials are available for each order.
• Review each order and determine if the sequencing is correct based on all the orders scheduled. Any orders should be reassigned to other lines based on machine capabilities as well as efficiency.
• Ensure appropriate reports are generated in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with Logistics on shipping information.
• Collect and update production work in computer system.
• Follow set guidelines regarding completion times and distribution of work orders.
• Responsible for adhering to and executing the applicable Environmental Health & Safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for all employees according to Berry, local, state, and federal requirement-regulations.
