Position title: Production Sanitation Associate

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for cleaning tasks relating to production, manufacturing, and general labor equipment areas and surfaces. The Production Sanitor is responsible for maintaining and cleaning assigned/designated areas. The ideal candidate must be willing and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

The chosen candidate will be responsible for working with several cleaning products in and around equipment. This position will primarily be performing all cleaning procedures. Must be able to follow standard cleaning practices, follow instructions, and perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:

· Able to read and comprehend printed and electronic information

· Know how to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.

· Process strong attention to detail in order to ensure cleanness.

· Able to follow directions

· Able to follow safety procedures

· Able to work well with others in a team environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Machines/Tools Used:

• Putty knife, buckets, rags, paper-knife, broom, mop, dollies, hair net, and hearing protection. Safety glasses and bump caps may also be used.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Demands:

• Stand for long periods
• Walk for a period of time
• Lift/push/pull or carry 10lbs-100lbs
• Can maintain balance when Kneeling/bending/crouching
• Can reach with hands and arms in all directions
• Can grasp, seize, hold and turn repetitively
• Can express and exchange ideas with others
• Can work in hot and cold environments
• Can work in cold/wet environments
• Can wear personal protective equipment
• Can maintain regular and predictable attendance
• Can grasp, seize and hold and turn repetitively
• Can see normal limits near and far

• Can workaround ingredients, fumes, odors, and dust
• Can wear protective gear
• Can manipulate objects

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing Environment
• Not temperature controlled

Schedule:

2nd shift- 3pm-11pm

3rd shift- 11pm-7am

Must be able to work 8-hour shifts, 10-hour shifts, or 12-hour shifts. Work ANY day of the week to include weekends. 5 days per week is the typical work schedule needed in order to meet the demands of the business but some OT will be required. These positions will work 5 days on and 2 days off. Schedule will change week by week.

Pay Rate:

• $18.87-19.87/hrly
• $2 weekend differential
• Paid weekly
• Direct deposit or pay card option

Experienced Qualifications:

• Production, Manufacturing, or industrial (6 months preferred)
• Bakery Industry experience highly preferred
• Prefer previous safety training.
