Production Planning Assistant (FT) Job at Acme Metal Works
About the Job:
We are looking to employ a detail-oriented Production Planning Assistant to help close jobs within our ERP system (Epicor 10) and create AS9102 Inspection forms. The Production Planning Assistant's responsibilities include entering blueprint information into an Excel spreadsheet, and closing jobs in our ERP system that have been completed and shipped. This opportunity is an excellent entry-level position for learning the process flow of aerospace manufacturing
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provide communication between internal departments to maintain the flow of materials.
- Intensive data entry on a tight schedule, with accuracy being highly necessary.
- Enter, modify, and close production jobs within our ERP system.
- Coordinate with support functions (QC, engineering, materials, shipping) to ensure the timely production flow and shipment of products.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Strong problem-solving skills with focused attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust quickly to changing priorities.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook.
Pay: $16-$18/hr
