Production Operator Job at Webasto
Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for Production Operator located at their Detroit Plant in Plymouth, MI.
If you have production experience in a Manufacturing or Automotive environment, then this position might be right for you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for production activities in a manufacturing environment to optimize resource use, minimize costs and maintain quality standards.
- Planning, managing and reviewing production operations to achieve output and quality objectives in line with set standards.
- Undertaking production activities to transform tangible inputs (e.g. raw materials or semi-finished goods) into finished products
- Developing and implementing production schedules to ensure the effective use of labor, tools, plant and equipment.
- Operating and monitoring machines and production equipment and performing skilled trades and apprentice craft work.
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Previous production experience in an Automotive/Manufacturing environment a plus
- Excellent people skills required
- Ability and willingness to work long hours as necessary
