Braeside Displays, part of Colony Display, LLC, is an industry leader in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of stock and custom visual merchandising solutions and displays. Our team is growing, and we are in searching for a Production Lead to support the company with the assembly/fabrication of plastic displays, including bending, gluing, decorating, and packing. This role will report to the Production Manager in our Antioch, IL operation. Successful candidates will possess a sense of urgency, can focus in a dynamic fast-paced environment, and a keen ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities based on the needs of the company to exceed our customer expectations from design to packaging.

Production Lead Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate personnel.

• Set up production lines.

• Conduct first piece approvals for new productions before real production begins.

• Produce plastic fixtures.

• Coach the team how to maximize efficiency and accuracy during all phases of production or workflow.

• Create standards of practice related to production and establish quality control metrics.

• Communication effectively and offer guidance, direction, and support to all team members.

• Encourage safe practices to team member.

These are illustrative duties, and the job holder will be expected to become involved in a range of work to enable the department to respond effectively to the requirements of the Company.

Production Lead Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience Production Lead experience in the manufacturing industry.

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks quickly.

• Develop professionally and be willing to learn and be highly self-motivated.

• Must be able to stand, bend, sit, and lift up to 40lbs without assistance.

• Experience with Job shop, fabrication, or plastic manufacturing is strongly preferred.

• Forklift certification is a plus

**Training gladly provided to a team oriented and well qualified candidate.
