Wonton Food Inc., a leader in food manufacturing industry, is currently seeking to hire a Production Lead. Individual will be responsible for the safety and productivity of all production employees staffed on designated shift. To ensure that production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner and within all quality parameters.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Comply with GMP, Food Safety, and OSHA Safety guidelines and requirements.
• Successfully perform functions of production worker.
• Arrange employee's schedule according to weekly production plan, ensure to achieve daily target.
• Keep tracks of raw material and packing material unitization.
• Maintain production reports, sanitation reports and machine/equipment inspection reports.
• Inspect the quality and quantity of products produced; train others on quality monitoring skill.
• Inspect machineries and equipment, report any maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Responsible for overseeing machine sanitation and production floor sanitation.
• Report to the supervisor in case of emergency during the production process.
• Provide training to new staff members.
• Evaluate employee performance, award or discipline accordingly to the company's policy.
• Liaison between employees and supervisors.
• If trained, properly operate forklift to transport pallets between different areas in the plant.
• Tasks assigned by managers but not including to the above functions.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in high speed manufacturing environment required, preferably consumer packaged goods.
• Strong employee relations, interpersonal, team building, and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime, evenings, weekends and different shift based on departmental needs.
• Able to lift, bend, squat, push, pull, climb, reach outward, reach above shoulder, move heavy objects by hand, and to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods of time
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills..
