We have an opportunity a full-time Project Coordinator position. This position involves with our team on coordinating work flow through our ERP system from the initial release to final inspection. This position operates in a high paced environment that handles many roles including scheduling, negotiating, assisting purchasing, quality and shipping. This position requires experience in project coordinating with a manufacturing company. An associates or bachelors degree is also nice to have but not a deal breaker.

Duties Include:

  • Run ERP manufacturing workbench on a daily basis.
  • Review and change job and item routings as necessary for all parts and releases in ERP system.
  • Work with vendors as strategic partners to include review of parts, material and schedule to meet production schedule requirements. This involves daily phone calls with vendors, face to face meetings and coordinating with management and other team members.
  • Assist with purchasing as necessary.
  • Assist with releases as necessary.
  • Update production manager on parts availability for upcoming equipment builds.
  • Run dispatch reports for production manager.
  • Schedule pickups with freight companies for inbound and outbound items
  • Update equipment delivery dates on a daily basis and manage the production schedule dates. Work with management to maintain priority.
  • Work with accounting and shop inventory control on cycle counts as necessary.
  • Update information in ERP system and work with Computer and Information Systems Manager to help with transition to advanced planning ERP system. Includes changing lead times and other ERP requirements to streamline the system as coordinated by the Computer and Information Systems Manager.
  • Assist Quality with tracking lot controlled parts.
  • Working in an office environment. Limited travel as necessary

Skills it will take to succeed in this position:

  • Desire to solve problems
  • Experience in project coordinating or similar role
  • Machine shop experience and experience in project coordinating/planner
  • Associates degree in Engineering or bachelors degree (nice to have but not a deal breaker)
  • PC skills (Word, Excel etc.)
  • Sincere, friendly and outgoing personality
  • Self-motivation
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Ability to work with a team
  • Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Familiarity with quality assurance control
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Planner
