Job Title: Production Associate

Department: Production

Reports To: Pando Management and Machine Operator

Job Purpose:

The Production Associate is responsible to provide multi-functional support to the production team to produce quality parts while meeting production standards according to the established procedures.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Assist operator in maintaining the inline production equipment in accordance with production schedule and product specification

• Inspects finished product for quality and documents measured results

• Notifies machine operator if parts are not conforming to standards

• Assist in proper start up and shut down of the process equipment in accordance with published production schedules

• Knows how to shut down the machinery in case of an emergency for twin screw and single screw

• Maintains a clean and orderly work environment

• Assist in startup of the in-line production system which includes extrusion, thermoforming, conveying system and supplying materials

• Must be able to learn the material conveying system and clearing out alarms in a timely manner to prevent shutdowns

• Be a champion in housekeeping effort by grinding startup scrap, defective parts, baling packaging materials

• Supplying raw materials to each production line timely

• Palletizing and putting away finished products, unused supplies and raw materials

• Know the locations for packaging materials and raw materials in order to maintain an organized production area

• Assist in production related minor maintenance project such as, but not limited to, blade gapping

• Follows all GMPs, AIB and safety practices

• Provide break relief for personnel in packing, operation, and warehouse

• Complete all assigned documentation processes such as production reporting and forklift inspections

• Other duties may be assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Education: Preferred: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Required: 4 year post secondary education, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

• Preferred: Previous forklift experience

• Preferred: Previous aerial lift experience

• Preferred: Previous machine operator experience

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Must have ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English or Spanish

• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Must follow the company’s attendance policies

• Must be able to lift/pull/push 30 pounds

• Must be able to work weekends

• Must be able to work 12-hour shift

• Must be able to walk in the warehouse and around the machines frequently on concrete surface

• Must be able climb ladders and stop stools
