Job purpose:

A leading manufacturer of Aerial Work platforms is looking for an experienced service professional for the Northeast United States region; specifically in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delware and New Jersey. A qualified candidate will have worked in the off-highway equipment industry, preferably the construction rental industry and is comfortable working independently across the region. Primary customers are rental companies so familiarity with rental operations and heavy equipment is helpful. Travel of 1-3 nights per week, 3 weeks per month is frequently required. Will work closely with Territory Sales Manager to maximize customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve technical problems as directed by Product Support Manager.
• Assist customers with resolving technical issues with machines in rental fleets.
• Provide technical product orientations.
• Provide technical training to Rental customers.
• Assist Sales team as required.
• Other Dealer visits as required.
• Phone support as directed by Product Support Manager.

Qualifications:

• Associate/Technical degree and/or experience equivalent to a minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Strong technical background focusing on D/C electrical and hydraulic system troubleshooting of mobile equipment.
• 2 years of experience in a customer service environment with a positive history of customer satisfaction.
• Good verbal/written skills.
• Possess a current driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical failures.
• Have or be able to obtain a valid USA passport.
• Willing to travel both domestically and internationally.
• Fluency with computers and the Microsoft Office suite including Power Point
• Willingness to learn and evolve with technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in related study.
• Experience in conducting training seminars, informal or formal.
• Welding skills/certifications.
• Heavy duty equipment experience.
• Technical writing skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
