Our Product Specialist's focus on training and educating our customers on current and future products with comprehensive marketing materials and training programs.

We are seeking a passionate, driven Product Specialist to join our rapidly growing team. Primary responsibilities include providing technical support to customers and staff on assigned product lines, developing and sourcing new and existing products for their categories, conducting market research, and performing product demonstrations to staff and customers. Additional duties include offering recommendations to the engineering team while developing new and existing products for their categories as well as assisting with new product launches.

Outstanding product specialists should have a keen eye for spotting market trends, a willingness to inspire clients, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the development of new products
• Improving the development of existing products
• Managing the launch of new products
• Conducting market research and analyzing industry trends
• Analyzing and documenting the product development process
• Leading internal and external audits of the products
• Building and maintaining customer relationships
• Resolving customer issues
• Providing technical support
• Collaborating with the development team and Product Manager

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Customer Service/Technical Support
• Electrical/Lighting industry (preferred)
• Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as great telephone etiquette
• Articulate and able to perform demonstrations that engage and inspire
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
