GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Product/Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing products by identifying
potential products, conducting market research, generating product requirements, determining, and
writing product business specifications, developing production timetables, creating timing and plans
for product introduction and developing market strategies. Inclusive in this role is the management of
projects as they relate to the production lifecycle from client needs to product implementation.
Candidates for this role will work with other key contributors to design project goals, track progress,
and measure/report on success markers.
SUMMARY OF DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES: (This list may not include all the duties assigned).

  • Determine customer needs by specifying the research necessary to obtain market information
  • Maintain open communication with other departments (i.e. Client Services, Marketing, Sales etc)

to maintain and further company objectives

  • Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product

specifications and requirements and appraising new product ideas

  • Assessing market competition by comparing ReportingMD’s products to competitors’ products.
  • Work with President, Vice President for Operations and Innovation, and Sales to develop product

sales strategies to help increase product market share

  • Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product

development programs

  • Introduce and market new products by developing and contributing to sales, advertising, and

production plans

  • Determine and write product business specifications
  • Track product and project(s) performance to analyze and report out on short- and long-term

goals

  • Maintain professional, technical, and programmatic knowledge by attending educational

workshops, courses, conferences and reviewing professional publications

  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited college or university; relating to Healthcare
Management or Public Health (or exceptional hands-on experience).
Position requires 3 to 5 years of experience with Physician/Provider Networks and Population
Health/Value Based Care management.
Individual must be extremely organized, proven ability to multitask and prioritize, communicate well
within all levels of the organization, and be proficient in the technical skills defined above, with an
understanding of physician practice management systems and electronic medical record applications.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate

with internal and external customers.**

  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive

attitude and providing outstanding customer service.**

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.
  • Outstanding people skills.**
  • Flexible, fast-paced, think-on-your feet mindset with a sharply focused analytical eye for detail,

pragmatism and elegance.

  • Knowledge of HIPPA requirements, including EDI, privacy and security regulations.
  • 3-5 years of experience with Physician/Provider network and Population Health/Value Based

Care management.

  • Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree that supports Healthcare Management or Public Health.

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching.
Requires eye – hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier,
telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to
record, prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Lifting of equipment not to exceed 20
pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:

  • Work is normally performed in the office work environment, although some virtual work is

permissible

  • Very limited physical effort required.
