As a Product Owner in the Connected & Sharing Solutions Division, you will be responsible for collaborating directly with customers to support the development of next generation navigation and multimedia systems. The Product Owner will lead the software development life cycle by managing specifications, roadmaps, and customer change requests, while also serving as an interface to local development teams. The Product Owner will work from the office and will support product management tasks for innovation teams. The location for this position is Plano, Texas and applicant considered for this position must reside within a commutable distance to this location.

Position Responsibilities

The candidate is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position.

• Define strategic vision for navigation and location-based services as a product expert and advocate.
• Maintain comprehensive product roadmaps and release plans.
• Provide customer consultation in defining requirements for next generation products.
• Coordinate with Business and Development teams to create project plans and schedules.
• Study market research to provide recommendations for future product enhancements.
• Lead new product development processes from ideation to production.

Required Skills and Experience

• 5 years of experience as Product Owner in software development.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, passion for building new innovative products.
• Strong project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
• Detailed-oriented, delivering high-quality documentation and reports.
• Initiative-taker who works proactively and requires little guidance.

Beneficial Skills and Experience:

• Familiarity with navigation systems or location-based services.
• Familiarity with C.A.S.E. (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, Electric).
• Technical experience with APIs, SDKs, Data Analytics.
• Experience working in a cross-cultural environment, including working with overseas teams.
• CSPO, CSM, PMI Certifications.

Education/Training/Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
