Compensation Minimum:$ 111,200 Annual

Compensation Maximum:$ 194,900 Annual

Summary:

Supports development of new or enhanced insurance products, services and customer innovations for the Business-owners line serving Commercial Habitation customers. Utilizes market research data to identify, analyze, and evaluate markets, products, or services that are potential areas for the company to enter. Prepares or modifies contract language, develops initial underwriting guidelines and standards and oversees development of predictive analytics including pricing models and other predictive models. Accountable for product premium volume growth and profitability. Analyzes data and information to recommend actions to improve profitability. Will manage relationship of every aspect of product through interaction with relevant departments.

Job Description:

Primary Accountabilities

  • Leads the launch, positioning and execution of new products and product changes.
  • Will have P&L accountability for assigned geographic area.
  • Develops and communicates performance indicators with accountability for driving desired profit and growth results. Develops appropriate metrics to measure success of initiatives.
  • Completes root cause analysis in a timely manner to address business performance gaps.
  • Develops and communicates the impact on solutions upon future business results (e.g., able to project the impact of actions/initiatives).
  • Manages cross-functional rate revision processes across the book of business.
  • Identifies growth opportunities through zone or territory alignment and product changes.
  • Provides expert analysis of risk management and financial results for sales management and other business partners.
  • Responsible for end-to-end development and deployment of Pricing, Filing, and Product strategies
  • Strategically plans/schedules rate reviews and major projects.
  • Develop rate review proposals for assigned states and work with regulators to get them approved.

This position is a hybrid role that involves working a minimum of 10 days per month in the office. Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving to results in one or more of the following areas: sales, product lines, claims, or other core business functions.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to management of business plans providing significant P&L benefit.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and leading large complex projects or programs with a cross-divisional impact toward intended results.
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial management concepts and the impact on product strategies.
  • Knowledge and understanding of state business planning and the impact to top and bottom line results.
