Overview:

The Product Integrity Assistant will support Haddad Brands’ mission to meet and exceed all regulatory and brand-specific product safety and chemical management expectations. He/She will monitor and maintain the performance data of factories to minimize risk, drive supply chain compliance and uphold positive outputs globally. The position requires someone with an interest in analytics as they pertain to the fashion industry including ongoing research and knowledge of sustainable practices in the supply chain and business efficiencies.

Key Accountabilities:

• Keep current with regulatory and brand-specific expectations, requirements and ambitions, as well as prevailing trends in global and local government legal testing obligations
• Maintain PI (Product Integrity) internal reporting databases and licensor web reporting portals
• Maintain PI metrics pertaining to audit results, testing results, etc.
• Partner with production teams to ensure goods meet proper regulatory testing
• Maintain invoicing and payment tracking for all factory audit activities, along with related metrics
• Assist in updating trainings for Design, Production, and Sourcing and schedule the cadences
• Support obligations to retail customers such as Costco, Kohl’s, Foot Locker, Wal-Mart, etc. including analyzing reports and documentation to provide to customers upon request
• Develop working partnerships with peers in Sourcing, Design, Overseas Merchandising, Quality Assurance teams, licensors and Third Party Service Providers to support program execution
• Work cross-functionally to incorporate sustainability with our supply chain and daily operations to support our licensors’ goals/initiatives
• Partner with internal teams to track and maintain sustainability certificates
• Special projects as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in apparel-relatable Sciences
• Prior experience in product integrity/testing, supply chain, and/or manufacturing children’s wear (experience in garment manufacturing environment is a plus)
• Familiarity with international safety regulations affecting children’s apparel products & accessories
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
