Product Design Engineer Job at MetroWall
Purpose of Role:
- To improve the performance, design and manufacturability of existing products and to research, design and launch new products
Core Responsibilities Outline:
- 1.01 Collect and collate feedback from clients and internal team members for improvements to existing products and new product ideas
- 1.02 Identify solutions for improvements to existing products to improve performance, design and manufacturability and/or reduce cost
- 1.03 Design, model, install and test prototypes for products
- 1.04 Research suppliers for components and obtain pricing
- 1.05 Create parts lists and dimensional calculations
- 1.06 Research and assess appropriate production processes
- 1.07 Produce final drawings, specifications, and installation manuals
- 1.08 Assist all internal departments and team members with needs relating to product updates and launches
- 1.09 Assist with planning and execution of marketing initiatives relating to product updates and new products
- 1.10 Maintain updated database for technical drawings and specifications
- 1.11 Assist engineering team in designing solutions for custom projects as needed
Additional Responsibility:
- 2.01 Work willingly with all members of the MetroWall team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
