We are looking to hire a Product Coordinator to support our Inflatables category on the Product Management Team. The candidate needs to be detail oriented and enthusiastic to support the evolving Inflated Division. This role will provide overall administrative support to the department on new product development, daily communication with our global supply chain, provide input on marketing presentations and deliverables to the sales team (samples, catalogs, price lists), coordinate incoming sample prototypes and requires a strong focus on ensuring that all database inputs are accurate and properly maintained.
This role allows the candidate an opportunity to begin their career in the sporting goods industry from the ground up. Having an interest in the product development cycle and a niche for copywriting would make you an ideal applicant!
The position is located at our headquarters in Stoughton, MA and will report to the Director of Product Management, Inflatables.

Detailed Responsibilities:
- Enter data into the internal systems to run sales and marketing reports and to ensure accuracy and data integrity of our internal process systems
- Work with product team and manufacturers, manage item set-ups and data administration with a focus on ensuring that specifications are accurate, complete throughout the network
- Review product samples to identify and address any defects
- Utilize Franklin’s integrated systems to track sample requests from inception & initial sample receipt, coordinate vendor feedback, integrate QA process evaluations, leading to product launch
- Maintaining the departmental samples which includes categorizing, documenting, and storing variety of samples, inflating and deflating balls
- Coordinate with the art department/creative team & product team to traffic development, approvals, and compliances in a timely, effective, and efficient manner
- Coordinate licensed product initiatives with leagues and internal licensing team as needed
- Track and review products using our internal system, mailing products to review & tracking quality checks
- Assist with creation of catalogs, printed materials to support annual launches
- Light assembly of samples
- Other duties or projects as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree, i.e., Marketing, Business Administration
- 1 years of prior administrative experience ideally within Packaged Consumer Products
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Good knowledge in all Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Outstanding organization skills and superb attention to detail are critical
- Candidate must be capable of working within a team and excel at clearly and effectively communicating with internal and external parties
- Highly organized and task oriented
- Ability to follow multiple projects with variable timelines through completion
- Must be able to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Ability and willingness to work occasionally in the sample warehouse environment
- Excellent writing and verbal skills
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Interact regularly and follow up with internal and external parties based on direction of management, presents information for decision making to manager
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position does not supervise employees
