CBSSports.com is looking for a talented producer to take our golf podcast to the next level. This position is responsible for producing and growing viewership and listenership to our national golf show, The First Cut, and will also support additional shows within the CBS Sports Podcast Network. The digital arm of CBS Sports has offices in Fort Lauderdale, Nashville and Stamford, CT, and the candidate would be able, but not required, to work out of any of those locations. Remote work is also an option.

Your day to day

• Develop seasonal programming strategies for our golf podcast focused on YouTube and audio-platform distribution.
• Produce at least two high-frequency podcasts
• Develop and implement social media plans to grow listeners across key platforms for multiple podcasts
• This will include Shorts,Tik Tok,Instagram and Twitter.
• Work closely with CBS Sports editorial, streaming and social teams on a daily basis to distribute podcast programming.
• Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on KPIs for podcasts you produce
• Maintain a close watch of industry trends and provide recurring reports to senior management
• Coordinate and implement sales campaigns with our integrated marketing team across your podcasts

Qualifications

• Experience producing audio and video programming
• Proven track record of producing high-interest social content
• Minimum 1-2 years working in media
• In-depth golf knowledge, including daily fantasy and betting
• Expert analytical experience with the ability to transform findings into actions
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with experience working with talent and production members
• Ability to work with and lead a collaborative production team and help guide and shape the editorial direction of multiple shows
• Experience working and managing a tight production schedule, translate ideas into action and prioritize a team’s responsibilities
• Strong ability to keep open lines of communication on a team
• A knack for delivering clear, conscientious feedback on both stories and performance
• Must be able to work weekends and nights
