Summary
The Procurement Specialist will support the business strategy through managing daily purchasing activities. This role is critical in procuring crop protection and specialty products for Simplot Grower Solutions locations. Main responsibilities include execution of purchase orders, costing, compliance, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring purchase orders, pricing, compliance, inventory utilization, and reporting are executed well and handled efficiently
- Collaborate with Supplier Relations and Strategy Leads as well as Procurement Manager to coordinate corporate chemical direction with team to optimize purchasing.
- Manage open orders and follow up with Suppliers to develop timeline for open order delivery
- Collaborate with sales organization to create sales and procurement forecasts
- Coordinates with internal departments to resolve any Accounts Payable and receipt discrepancies

Typical Education
Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, equivalent education and experience may be considered
Relevant Experience
- 1+ years related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of best practice procurement and supplier management processes
- Experience in procurement/supply chain highly preferred
- MS Office
Required Certifications
Valid Driver's License required

Position Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00. This range is estimated for the Procurement Specialist in the state of Colorado, USA. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location and experience.
