Performs procurement duties using the SC Enterprise System (SCEIS) as an initiator. Creates and maintains shopping carts, purchase orders, and good receipts in SCEIS for the following services: multiple on-going maintenance contracts; construction materials and rental equipment for maintenance activities, serve requests for Kershaw Maintenance complex and Bethune Section Shed. In accordance with Procurement Policy, solicits and awards written quotes from qualified sources and attaches to shopping cart on Form 3085. Manages and maintains required files for auditing by internal and external auditors. Coordinates and executes purchases for state emergency situations as declared by the Governor. Stays current on product availability through State and Agency Contracts. Maintains office copy of State Purchasing Contract notebook. Receives and records information from the public; inputs information into HMMS (Highway Maintenance Management System) and dispatches to appropriate personnel utilizing a two-way radio. Assists in emergency and inclement weather operations, performs clerical duties. May include being available for extended working hours or 12-hour shifts.
This Position is located at District One: Kershaw Maintenance

A high school diploma and six (6) months of work experience that Is directly related to the area of employment. Relevant experience may substitute or the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. A valid motor vehicle operator's license is required.
