Processing Tech Job at Cinder Cannabis
Processing Techs are responsible for assisting Cinder Industries with processing, packaging, and labeling wholesale and retail cannabis products. Additional duties include picking up prepackaged cannabis delivery orders from Cinder's retail location and delivering them to retail and medical consumers within New Mexico Cannabis Control Division regulatory standards. Must be over 25 years of age, have a clean driving record, and have a valid New Mexico Driver's License to operate company vehicles.
Duties
- Receive and accurately intake all deliveries for both retail cannabis, manufacturing biomass, and manufacturing materials
- Ensure all received product and materials meet expected quality and shows no signs of damage or spoilage
- Perform appropriate QA/QC protocol on all manufactured products.
- Accurately process “raw materials” (prerolls, tubes, labels) into finished products according to assigned purchase orders.
- Maintain organized records of all product and material invoices (retail cannabis, manufacturing biomass, and manufacturing materials).
- Ensure all raw materials needed for your shift have been transported from bulk storage at our off-site storage unit.
- Participate in monthly processing evaluation meetings.
- Picking up and delivering at set locations daily
- Loading, unloading, and operating the company delivery vehicle.
- Maintaining safe operation and clean appearance by complying with company operational policies, procedures, and standards.
- Operating Cinder’s delivery vehicle safely and leaving it in clean condition at the end of the shift
- Interfacing with store personnel to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Providing excellent customer service to all patrons encountered on the delivery route.
- Verifying customer identification and medical cards
Skills:
- Working understanding of Microsoft Excel, Google Suites, and other software used in the manufacturing process.
- Working knowledge of Biotrack (intake, product conversions, reporting material loss).
- Understanding desired biomass quality to execute QA/QC process accurately.
- Understanding desired manufactured product quality to execute QA/QC process accurately.
- Ability to utilize printer/scanner to generate digital copies of materials invoices.
- Ability to upload digital documents to the appropriate DropBox folder.
- Detail Oriented
Additional Requirements:
- Clean driving record upon hire and maintenance of good standing while employed.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to pass a drug test at hire (excluding THC) and additional tests at Cinder’s discretion during employment.
- 25+ years of age at the time of application
- Minimum 1-year professional driving experience preferred
- Excellent driving skills in inclement weather or low-light conditions are required.
- Knowledge of the Albuquerque street system and freeways is preferred.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills required
- Ability to effectively operate technology such as mobile tablets, cell phone applications, and in-vehicle applications.
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize and organize workflow on a daily basis to accomplish required tasks.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs safely
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
