As a Process Engineer you will have a successful track record in design for manufacturing, product transfer and technical leadership in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry. We ask for for up to 10% both domestic and international travel. You will take an active role in improving performance to ensure good quality in manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support in process development/scale-up of new chemical entities in a chemical processing

environment.

  • Help coordinate technology transfer of OLED manufacturing processes between sites.
  • Identify solutions, including process analytical technologies which lead to process control.
  • Prepare technical reports that support scale-up activities and process improvements.
  • Review manufacturing batch records and protocols and participates in the training of operators and technicians in new operations.
  • Applies scientific and engineering principles for research programs involving product development, processing,

manufacturing technology, and quality control.

  • Maintains constant communication with teams to assist projects from concept through

commercialization.

  • Responsible for documentation to ensure the manufacture of new products; including batch records,

production instructions, validation and stability protocols.

  • Maintains accurate records of all development projects.
  • Troubleshoots problems with manufacturing processes and optimizes development processes.
  • Evaluates equipment and processes to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical engineering or a related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • Ability to work with and collaborate with multiple departments and sites.
  • A combination of technical service, product/process development, processing laboratory techniques and regulatory

requirements in chemical, pharmaceutical or related industries.

  • Experience with fundamental theories and principles of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma
  • Experience with DOE to support scale-up of development processes at manufacturing sites.
  • Using tools such as statistics, downtime tracking, mechanical history, project planning. when

identifying opportunity areas.
