Purpose:
You will provide electrical engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the electrical engineering team.
Recognized as a functional expert and thought leader within the department and broader organization. Anticipate complex internal and external business issues with impact on the organization and can recommend innovative program and/or program solutions. Contributes to strategic program development.
Responsibilities:
- Support lead engineer in managing a team of engineers and designers for the duration of the project, up to construction and commissioning;
- Experienced in development, design of electrical distribution systems, equipment selection, protective relay selection, power management system configuration, interface management;
- Experienced in power systems studies and protective device settings;
- Experienced in field execution (FAT, SAT, testing and commissioning) of MV transformers, MV and LV switchgear, LV MCCs, VFDs, PMS, UPS, DC Systems, Compressors, fired heaters, and F&G System;
- Experienced in Intelligent motor control system; Develop SoW and requisition packages, TBE, conduct equipment award clarification, KO meetings, vendor and client interface
- Coordinate power system design with client corporate and Refinery requirements;
- Develop load list, I/O list, cable schedules, relay configuration list with client; participate in HAZOP; develop equipment requisition packages; perform/review electrical calculations; perform field verification and job walks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential to effectively share what they know with other employees.
- Commitment to customer service and ability to guide department personnel in partnership with and during manager's absence is essential.

- Ability to establish project estimates and oversight of project budgets.
- Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
- A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the electrical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities important.
- The ability to prepare and present complex program proposals and reports to senior level management and customers is critical
- A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient with engineering software applications ETAP, and SPL desired.
- Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- Substantial technical land practical experience in electrical engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
Required:
- Min 12+ Year’s experience
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering
Preferred:
- Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status, professional registration in the State of California preferred.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.

Salary Range: $113,812-$153,980
