Saint Patrick Catholic School, located in Terre Haute, Indiana, is seeking a principal for
the start of the 2023-2024 academic school year. Saint Pats is the Catholic grade
school of the Terre Haute Deanery, uniquely serving the ten parishes of the greater
Terre Haute region. Our school enrollment is around 330 students, encompassing
preschool through eighth grade.
Our principal must be a practicing Roman Catholic with a strong desire and ability to
lead a community of faith. Our Catholic identity is the heart of our school. The principal
will work closely with the pastor, as well as the parish and wider parishes of the Deanery
in fostering the faith of Jesus in our students. In addition, our drive for academic
excellence is strengthened by our outstanding teachers and support staff. Our principal
is the leader of the school, and will hire, train, develop and manage the teachers and
entire support staff of the school. A strong background in education and curriculum will
be necessary. The principal must have an administrative license for the state of Indiana
or be working toward its completion.
Our principal will work closely with the leadership of the school community, including the
school commission, parents, and wider support systems of the institution. This work
includes our continuous improvement plan for the school in areas such as facilities,
finance, enrollment, etc. Our community is strong at Saint Patrick School of the Terre
Haute Deanery, and it is ready to support our principal in her or his leadership.
