SUMMARY

The North American Seating Team has an opening for a Pricing Analyst to support its OE and Fleet activities as related to seats. The right candidate will be self-driven and motivated, possess a high level of initiative, and proven skills in managing multiple and diverse tasks. This individual will embrace the level of attention to detail required, while at the same time interacting with persons across various departments and locations within the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as required.

  • Contract Management for major seating customers with tasks ranging from price development to pricing accuracy to system upload of customer price files
  • Serve as Liaison between CVG and customer pricing contacts at various OE customers
  • Identifying and resolving pricing discrepancies between CVG and all seating customers
  • Develop and run pricing inquiries or other performance related inquiries
  • Develop and distribute inter-company and service pricing where applicable
  • Perform price analysis, prepare, and distribute detailed sales reports
  • Technical support for CVG Field Sales Reps
  • Prepare monthly sales commissions reports for two seating facilities based on data / reports collected from the field sales reps each month and prepare payment request forms
  • Monitor ECN's daily monitoring for changes impacting price or part numbers and adjust system or contracts as necessary
Requirements:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or as determined by the interviewer.

Should also possess the following competencies: Above average computer skills as related to databases and spreadsheets (Excel); Problem solve in a timely manner; Work effectively under stressful situations; Strong communication skills; Prepare and present numerical data effectively and accurately; Show respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Promote a harassment-free environment; Work with integrity and ethically; Follow the Company's policies and procedures; Prioritize and plan work activities; Use time efficiently; Approach others in a tactful manner; Accept responsibility for own actions; Deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events; Be consistently at work and on time; Ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrive at meetings and appointments on time; and Ask for and offer help when needed.
