PRESS SECRETARY Job at United States Senate
Senator Dianne Feinstein seeks mature, self-motivated press secretary to serve in Washington, DC. This is not an entry-level position and a minimum 5 years of experience is required. Experience staffing a high-profile government official and familiarity with the legislative process is also necessary. Must demonstrate ability to juggle multiple projects, strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. On-the-record experience not required, but appreciated. Responsibilities will include fielding reporter inquiries, pitching stories and developing relationships with reporters. Position will be writing-intensive including drafting press releases, statements, speeches, op-eds, talking points and social media. Weekend and evening work possible.
