Press Brake Operator - Tesseract Fab Job at Maynard Inc
Tesseract Fabrication is a busy fabrication shop looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating hydraulic press brakes to bend, form, and straighten metal plates and sheet metal.
Responsibilities:
· Interpret and read blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine the sequence of operations to follow.
· Program the press brake using CNC controls to ensure precision and accuracy of bends.
· Set up, adjust and operate the press brake to bend metal plates and sheet metal according to specifications.
· Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet customer specifications and quality standards.
· Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in operating a press brake.
· Proficiency in reading blueprints and using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
· Knowledge of CNC programming and basic computer skills.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
