The South Shore Early Education Program of SSCAC Inc., a private non-profit, is seeking Preschool Lead Teachers for our Preschool Program in Wareham.
POSITION: BA/BS or AA/AS required in Early childhood or related field. EEC Certification in Preschool. (35 hours/52 weeks)
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement daily lesson & curriculum plans using Creative Curriculum. Assist Co-Teacher to create and maintain a safe and healthy physical environment that fosters students' physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Perform teaching activities that align with the EEC and Head Start Performance Standards regulations.
Meal assistance, Bus Monitoring, and other various activities as assigned.
Core Qualifications:
EEC Commonwealth of Massachusetts certification in Preschool. Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood preferred or AA/AS degree minimum. Must be at least 18 yrs. of age to apply.

All candidates must have a current medical certificate, MMR Documentation, TB test, statements of CORI/Background check, DCF background check including SORI and fingerprinting, and completed employment application online prior to beginning employment.

Retention Bonus:
Competitive Pay-$23.37/hour-with EEC & BA/BS 52 wks., excellent benefits, and a new hire employee incentive of $500 after 90 consecutive days of employment.
