Bigalora and Arbor Brewing Company is interviewing for Prep Cook:

Bigalora is fast growing Italian restaurant group focused on Neapolitan pizza, and we are seeking prep cooks in our scratch kitchen in Livonia to support our growth. We currently have locations in Southfield, Royal Oak, Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Plymouth, as well as multiple food trucks. Our restaurants have a neighborhood, family vibe and we are looking for people who are passionate about cooking from scratch, and understand that our culture and food quality come first.

Prep Cook Job Description:

· Follow the prep list to plan duties

· Accurately measuring ingredients to be used in cooking

· Prepare recipes according to company specifications

· Stocking freezers, coolers, dry storage so the shelves are organized

· Maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers

· Wash dishes, clean prep areas

Prep Cook Requirements:

· Ability to work efficiently and quickly

· Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen

· Manual dexterity able to operate cutting tools and kitchen utensils

· Able to lift boxes up to 70 pounds.

· A team player with good communication skills

· Driver’s license with chauffeur’s endorsement a plus.

Prep Cook Benefits:

Job Type: Full-time, part time available

Experience with pizza or bread dough a plus.

Must be available to work on Saturdays, day shift.
