Schwieters Companies is seeking to hire a full-time, Longline Machine Material Handler to join our team. If you are looking for an opportunity to utilize your skills with an expanding company and see the beauty of craftsmanship come to life, this is the company for you.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare all material before loading onto longline
• Load/unload material properly onto/off the longline
• Accountable for the product and assembly you are working on
• Managing orders to be completed in full and on time
• Using a scan gun to check inventory and properly adjust where material is at
• Inspecting all material for quality
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
• Work with a team of individuals to ensure product is picked on time and to quality specifications
• Work together with all other areas in prefinish to ensure maximum efficiency is achieved
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous material handler experience
• Comfortable learning to operate a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Self-motivated, self-directed team player and team builder
• Ability to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions; have legible penmanship, good communication skills (verbal and written) and be detail oriented.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Flexible in working overtime when necessary
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

WORK SCHEDULE
1st Shift

• Monday thru Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime offered as needed

PAY

• $20+/hr-1st Shift
