General Purpose
MFHC’s Care Management Department Population Health Data Analyst will create and maintain a robust health data analytics program that makes caring for our higher risk population and understanding our overall value-based contract performance possible. Under the supervision of MFHC’s Interdisciplinary Care Director, the Population Health Data Analyst is responsible for analysis of population data associated with clinical performance and health system utilization. Subsequently, the role contributes to improved stratified population outcomes and/or processes related to MFHC’s overall value-based program performance.

Job Qualifications*
Education or Formal Training & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in health care discipline, Business, or Finance,
- MPH or related health care administration/population health graduate degree, preferred
- CPHQ preferred; required after 18 months of employment in this position.
- 2-3 years’ professional experience in data analytics
- 2+ years’ work experience in population health, health care finance, or health care operational data analysis preferred
- Previous experience with electronic medical records required.
- Previous experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting required.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and a basic working knowledge of database environments required.
- Basic proficiency in statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS to be used for data set analyzing, preferred.
- Previous data visualization (e.g., MS Power BI, Tableau) and report writing application (e.g. SQL, Crystal) experience preferred.
- Exposure to Meaningful Use, CMS quality data and reporting preferred

Pay: $63,972.00 - $71,080.00 per year
