A Service Disabled Veteran-owned GC is seeking a new team member with expertise in the federal and commercial construction industry - focusing on projects in excess of $5M. As an experienced PM, join a team with a transparent culture and believe in direct, honest, and respectful communication both internally and with customers. They are looking for a person who has experience with commercial buildings and grow with the company.

Position: PM

Location: Lancaster, PA

Compensation: $80k-$120K + bonus (up to $75/hr)

Responsibilities:
  • Overall Accountable and responsible for the success of projects assigned
  • Adherence to Valiant Group's Construction Delivery System, which includes proficiency in Autodesk Build and Autodesk Build Cost systems
  • Project Budget and overall Profit and Loss goals
  • Billing of the project and subcontractor payment
  • Monthly Project Updates to leadership team
  • Development and Execution of project management plan
  • Adherence to the project schedule and coordination of monthly updates
  • Estimate development of change orders
  • Interpret project documents and scope of work
  • Read and Review contract drawings and specifications
  • Ensure construction is as per the Authoritys policies, procedures and plan
  • Handle RFIs, Submittals, Change Orders, Contractors Payment Requests, Schedules etc.
  • Lead and facilitate kick-off, progress and safety meetings, which includes meeting minutes development
  • Effective communication and coordination with various stakeholders
  • Ensure safety at construction project site
  • Manage and support project close-out activities including punch list, close-out documentation
Requirements:
  • Minimum 7 Years of experience managing commercial construction projects.
  • Highly Preferred - Experience working on Public Agency projects (like Hospitals, School, Colleges etc.)
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management or related field, or relevant experience.
  • 10 / 30-hour OSHA construction safety training preferred.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook.
