Responsibilities:
- Developing PLC/HMI programs/screens for the control of water and wastewater systems
- PLCs such as Allen Bradley, Bristol, Phoenix Contact, and Siemens
- Touchscreen development
- Ability to set up, calibrate and troubleshoot Instrumentation
- Knowledge of control networks (IP and Modbus) and SCADA systems
- Communication Protocols (Serial, Modbus, TCP/IP, HART, OPC)
- 4-20 mA loop knowledge and troubleshooting
- A bonus to have familiarity with SCADA Software such as; VTScada and Wonderware, but not required
- Radio communication systems knowledge preferred, but not required
- General Control Wiring knowledge
- Communication with customer for timeline and preferences
- Ability to develop and adhere to program standards
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in PLC and HMI programming, testing in the shop and field start up experience preferred.
2 years experience working within a similar environment
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Ability to sit for prolonged period of times, with small amounts of bending, stretching, and lifting
Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
