Miller Brother Staffing Solutions is looking for an experienced Plastic Process Engineer for a busy manufacturing facility based in Meadville Pa

Position: Plastic Process Engineer
Shift: Monday-Friday
Salary: $80,000-$100,000 based on experience

Our client provides its customers with a partner that can provide high quality tool and die services, precision machining, stamping, zinc casting, plastic injection molding, laser welding and assembly for aerospace and medical fields..

Job Expectations:

• Plan and execute for cost, delivery, and quality of operations on all equipment and processes.
• Man-hour estimates
• Reacting to changing priorities.
• Record-keeping and reporting.
• Demonstrates initiative to learn industry and project requirements.
• Provide general production support for machining and/or assembly area as needed
• Evaluate upgrades for machining or assembly.
• Troubleshoot issues (quality, efficiency, etc.) on assembly line or machine.
• Provide hands-on problem resolutions.
• Report and facilitate correction of out-of-specification conditions.
• Determine the proper processes
• Create and analyze standards and operation layouts.
• Select and implement proper fixturing and tooling for machining and/or assembly job.
• Perform capital equipment justification as needed.
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective actions for reducing scrap, rework, and down time.
• Research and implement new technological ideas for continuous improvement.
• This position will report to the GM and works closely with other team members to ensure that
• parts produced meet our rigorous customer quality. Interacts with other Departments such as: Engineering, Manufacturing, Tool room, Quality and Warehouse.

Education / Experience

• S. in Engineering or equivalent
• Previous Manufacturing experience. Minimum 5 years.
• Previous Plastic Molding experience is a must.
• Experience with machining and machining processes
• Good Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to program preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Dependable and can-do attitude required
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs required.
• Reliable transportation to be at work on schedule
• Ability to walk around presses and stand for extended periods during shift required
• Ability to speak, read and write English required
• Ability to read blueprints
