About Us
Güd Gardens is an expanding recreational cannabis producer in Grants Pass, Oregon. We are currently seeking an additional Plant Care Technician to assist our Cultivation team in the execution of our wide variety of cultivation projects. This includes outdoor, indoor, and greenhouse growing, propagation through harvest.
With five Tier II OLCC Licensed farms in operation, Güd Garden’s current focus is full-sun flower cultivation in native soil with organic methodology. Our harvesting techniques include both dry flower and fresh frozen for live resin extraction.
In addition, we have indoor and greenhouse facilities to maintain our expanding genetic library and produce high quality indoor flower, as well as to support specific extraction projects. Our focus as industry leaders is to optimize large scale cultivation, maintain healthy methodology, and to inspire the future of cannabis culture.
As our company evolves, we have need for an additional strong cannabis cultivator to join our family.
Position Scope
The Plant Care Technician should be prepared to assist across all cultivation projects. When working in the indoor garden, the Plant Care Technician will assist in all projects which may include, transplanting, defoliating, pruning, fertigation, environment monitoring, cleaning, and organization. Seasonally, the Plant Care Technician may be asked to assist in outdoor cultivation tasks, such as field prep, bed prep, irrigation, planting, pruning, IPM activities, harvest, curing, etc.
Responsibilities
- Assist on indoor and outdoor cultivation labor tasks, such as environmental prep, planting, pruning, training, and irrigation.
- Work with cultivation teammates to complete collaborative projects and meet deadlines.
- Follow all company SOPs and safety procedures.
Required Skills/Experience
This candidate must possess:
Experience in cannabis cultivation.
Valid OLCC Marijuana Workers permit.
A strong desire and ability to perform manual labor indoors and outdoors, in all weather conditions.
Ability to follow directions.
Preferred Skills
Passionate about cannabis growing, breeding, and genetics.
Experience with implementation of Integrated Pest Management systems.
Knowledge about indoor/outdoor irrigation systems.
Organization and experience with Microsoft Suite.
