PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a Manufacturing client in Charlevoix, MI who is actively looking to hire a qualified individual for a Plant Accounting Manager position.

Plant Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage month end close processes, forecasts, annual budget ABD strategic plans.
• Prepare various financial statements and reports on a monthly basis
• Lead the management team with budget preparations, and on-going adjustments
• Work with the management team to identify and implement opportunities for cost savings, operating efficiencies, and best practices
• Manage CAPEX process.
• Assist with the preparation of capitol authorization requests, forecast, and monitor spending; update fixed assets ledgers as required
• Coordinate the preparations of external and internal audit materials

Plant Accounting Manager Qualifications:

• A Bachelors in Accounting
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance/accounting role
• CPA, Preferably
• Intermediate to advance MO skills
• The ability to effectively manage others
• To work without being micromanaged
