Job Title: Planning Supervisor
Your role as the Planning Supervisor entails supervising planning and production control functions, material requirements, fabrication scheduling and dispatching, work-in-process tracking, schedule changes, short-range recovery plans, material and labor variance controls, and manufacturing performance reporting, to optimize business

Your Challenge:
- Supervise/monitor manufacturing/procurements status interacting with applicable personnel to ensure adherence to program plans. Identify bottlenecks to be resolved by applicable personnel. Follow-up and control production schedules.
- Conducts periodic program review with management to define current status of the specific program and/or detailed parts/assemblies. Reports/recommends potential action plans to insure timely delivery of product.
- Hold production status Interact with counterparts, both in and out of the materials area, to establish priorities, identify problem areas, and recommend corrective action. Exchange other pertinent information as applicable
- Makes periodic review of shop workload versus Consults with Manufacturing including recommendation for need to send work outside when applicable.
- Assist and instructs subordinates on detail of work as necessary to ensure adherence and compliance with Quality and Company procedures.
- Approves quantities, schedules and parts lists provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, as well as receipt and issuance of production material requirements.
- Responsible for training of personnel in production procedures.
- May coordinate activities with materials function using enterprise resource planning systems. Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
- Activities supervised include; coordination of required planning, production control activities, identification of potential disruptions in production flow or delays in procurements, and support in their resolution.
- Maintains and monitors assembly kit status and issuance of production kits per the master production schedule (MPS). Timely identification and reporting of schedule constraints to applicable personnel, development of recovery plans and maintaining the MPS.
- Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, and performance assessment.

Your Expertise:
- College degree in associated field or equivalent experience required
- 10 years minimum of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) execution spanning the functions of Planning, Production Control, Inventory Control, Production Expediting
- High level of problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Must be able to work independently and make own decisions
- Capable of reading and understanding bills of materials, blueprint reading, supportive manufacture documentation, project releases, sales orders, shop orders, requisitions and purchase orders, routings and job shop travelers
- MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project
- Supply Chain Management certification preferred
- Knowing of Oracle preferred
