We currently have an opening for a Planning and Permitting Manager. We are open to hiring for remote work in any location, but candidates who are local to Dublin, OH or Irvine, CA would be able to work in our office and/or remote. This position does require some travel.
As a Planning and Permitting Manager, you will assist with administration of a broad range of zoning, permitting, and code research tasks. You are responsible for leading team members in other engineering disciplines to work on various stages of client projects during the site development and entitlement phase. This role requires significant exercise of judgment on crucial details and in making preliminary selection and adaptations of development alternatives. You will manage established timeframes and project deliverables to exceed the expectations of our clients.
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Public Administration, or related technical field, or a combination education and work experience
- Previous work experience in planning, permitting and/or civil engineering (site development)
- American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) Certification is preferred
