Planning & Analysis Manager, Global Ventures Job at The Coca-Cola Company
Manage Global Ventures portfolio with data driven storytelling that delivers insights across four unique finished goods businesses outside of the Company’s core. Primary responsibilities include managing the planning (including Rolling Estimate, Annual Business Plan, and Long-Range Plan) consolidation, reporting, analysis, and providing business insights for Global Ventures and the businesses (Costa, innocent, Dogadan and Monster Energy). This position will interact and collaborate with Group Director Planning and Insights, Group CFO, and Global Venture Businesses to ensure alignment on key financial and other business measures. It also will work closely with Corporate to ensure timely and accurate compliance with Company reporting requirements and internal controls. The role requires self-motivation, curiosity, experience working with cross functional and cultural teams, strong focus on collaboration, and process improvement. This role provides a unique opportunity to collaborate categories critical to the future success of TCCC, while interacting with cross-functional group of leaders covering Finance, Strategy, RGM, Supply Chain, and Marketing. While FP&A, business analytics, and action-oriented insights are the core responsibilities, Global Ventures offers unique opportunities for further capability development. Each Global Ventures business has an end-to-end financial structure, offering interactions with P&L, Cash Flow, and Capital.
Function Related Activities / Key Responsibilities:
- Develop efficient and sustainable rhythms for Global Ventures SLT members to have action-oriented discussions around managing business performance, including maintaining an integrated planning calendar and ensuring clear and concise insights to drive the discussion.
- Lead, validate, and reconcile Global Ventures businesses’ financials (P&L, Cash Flow, Capex) to ensure accurate and timely financial submissions, in compliance with closing and reporting requirements.
- Analyze and interpret financial results and external business performance indicators to provide critical insights and recommendations to capture opportunities across Global Ventures.
- Create monthly reporting presentations to communicate insights on business performance, forecast, risk and opportunities, and key operational metrics to Global Ventures and the Company’s SLT members.
- Prepare financial analyses and develop key business insights to support Global Ventures Senior Management presentations and other ad hoc requests.
- Consolidate capex needs across the businesses, ensure appropriate business justification, and coordinate Capital Management.
- Provide support to the Global Ventures businesses with their planning process, process improvements, trainings, and system issues.
Related Work Experience
- 5+ years of experience on financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, and/or public accounting / internal audit experience.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities, teamwork, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with cross functional partners and multiple levels of leadership.
- Advanced financial analysis and problem-solving skills – the ability to explore strategic options, developing creative solutions to complex business issues, and/or supporting decision-making.
- Willingness to engage with virtual teams across multiple markets and time zones.
- Proven ability to influence teams without the authority of a direct reporting line.
- Proven ability to adapt to different work environments (culture), working across different time zones.
- Understanding of currency neutral as reported financials, how it works and how it impacts our results.
- Ability to transfer data into usable insights and recommendations for the business, solid experience in scenario modeling.
- Excellent Excel skills.
