Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic cook that specializes in making Pizzas. At our restaurant all pizzas are made by hand and on site, because of this it is incredibly important that any applicant has extensive experience making pizzas in this manner. Also this job demands exceptional multitasking to meet demand during busy hours of the day.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Being able to prepare necessary ingredients especially dough
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Check quality of ingredients
- must be able to produce large volumes of food in a short amount of time.
Qualifications and Skills
- Having experience in an Italian kitchen
- Having a flexible, open schedule
- Possessing basic recipe reading skills
- Showing basic cooking knowledge along with intermediate pizza knowledge
- Obtaining relevant food and beverage certifications and licenses
- Being capable of operating basic kitchen equipment
- Bachelor’s degree in culinary arts is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
