Position:

We are seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide therapy services to patients and work with their families in our skilled nursing and long-term care settings in Okmulgee Oklahoma. We are looking for a therapist with a positive attitude who wants to work closely with a dedicated therapy team to provide the best patient care we can. This position is an on-sight and on-call position that will help with weekend coverage in our nursing home in Okmulgee. We will offer flexibility on hours worked and competitive weekend pay rate!

Job Description:

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides a medically prescribed physical therapy plan of care under the supervision of a physical therapist. After the physical therapist has completed the initial evaluation, established functional goals and developed an individualized plan of care, the physical therapist assistant provides instruction and rehabilitation of acute and prolonged dysfunction or pain with an emphasis on movement; therapeutic application of physical agents; exercise and other procedures to maximize functional independence. The physical therapist assistant functions as a member of the rehabilitation team; participates in in-service training; quality improvement initiatives; documentation; billing; ordering equipment and supplies; and other requested duties.

Required Qualifications:

· Valid State of Oklahoma Licensure

· Valid Driver’s License

· Ability to pass a background check

· Cleared to work in the US
