The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for following the Plan of care of the Physical Therapist, daily documentation of treatments rendered. The Physical Therapist Assistant will work with the Physical Therapist, Director of Outpatient and other team members to efficiently and effectively execute the established Plan of care.

The Physical Therapist Assistant must be highly detail-oriented and capable of communicating well with patients. The position will leverage many competencies such as: verbal communication, compassion, time management skills, attention to detail, and a drive to be successful.

Essential Functions

• Administer physical therapy treatment upon a Physical Therapist evaluation and Plan of Care.
• Assess understanding and compliance of patients towards their medical management and plan of care.
• Document patient daily progress notes in ECW medical chart.
• Assess patient's progress and consults with team as needed to maintain, modify or change the physical therapy treatment to accomplish established goals

Training and Experience

• Minimum Education Required: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy or approved certificate program
• Must be Florida State licensed or eligible for Florida State License
• Valid CPR for healthcare providers.
